Common ingredients in a soda herb.

The soda herbs is an iconic Malaysian drink. You can’t find this anywhere else besides the night bazar or pasar malam. It is a very sweet and tart drink. The sweetness comes from the ice cream soda and lychee while its tanginess comes from the lemons.

The soda herbs drink features a lot but easy to get ingredients. It is safe to say you can make soda herbs with whatever is in the pantry.

But today, we decided to add a little twist by adding in fruit tea.

What you’ll need:

    1. Two lemongrass

    5. MIX-LAH Ice Tea Lemon Powder
    6. One bottle of ice cream soda
    7. Hot water

    3. Stir until dissolve.
    4. In the same pitcher, add in the lychee (with a tablespoon of its syrup), asam boi, the mashed lemongrass and mint leaves.
